Insolvency Accountants - (Accountant / Senior / Supervisor) Multiple Roles

Location: Brisbane (Hybrid Options)

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

Various Positions available at different levels:

  • Accountant Level: 1+ year experience
  • Senior Level: 2+ year experience
  • Supervisor: 4+ years' experience

We are working with a leading insolvency firm in Brisbane and are looking to hire multiple professionals across Accountant, Senior and Supervisor level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal and corporate insolvency files, including preparing statutory documents and reports
  • Support appointees in meeting legislative duties - reports, records, taxation, audits and compliance
  • Communicate with stakeholders such as directors, creditors and advisors regarding the appointment
  • Help identify and realise assets relevant to each appointment
  • Prepare reports to creditors and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure statutory deadlines are met
  • (Senior/Supervisor) Guide junior staff and assist managers with workflow

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law or similar
  • Experience across personal and corporate insolvency
  • Accountant Level: 1+ year experience
  • Senior Level: 2+ year experience
  • Supervisor: 4+ years' experience
  • The drive to build a career in insolvency
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of the Corporations Act, Bankruptcy Act and relevant insolvency law.

Nice to have:

  • CA/CPA qualification or be working towards it
  • Experience in MYOB Insolvency or MYOB Suite
  • Knowledge of Power BI, FYI Docs or Microsoft Dynamics 365
