Your Role:

As an Senior Insolvency Accountant, you will be actively involved in a diverse portfolio of corporate insolvency and restructuring assignments. Reporting to experienced managers and partners, you will take ownership of key tasks and develop your technical and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of formal insolvency appointments (e.g., Liquidations, Voluntary Administrations), including trade-on management, asset realisations, and statutory compliance.
• Assist senior staff on advisory and informal engagements, such as Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and turnaround assignments.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, investigations, and reporting to identify key issues and potential recoveries.
• Prepare clear and concise reports, recommendations, and correspondence for creditors, financiers, directors, and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, legal advisors, banks, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure meticulous accuracy and compliance in maintaining working papers and case files.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About You:

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented accountant ready to build their career in insolvency. To be successful, you will bring:

• Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience working within Corporate Insolvency and/or Restructuring in an accounting firm environment.
• Qualifications:
• A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Accounting, Commerce, Finance).
• Currently studying towards or having completed your CA or CPA qualification.
• Skills & Attributes:
• A strong, demonstrated interest and drive to learn within the insolvency and restructuring field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
