THE PERSON

We are looking for a highly experienced hospitality professional with a warm, personable manner who takes pride in giving exceptional customer service. You will have a high standard of personal presentation with a strong work ethic and a flexible, efficient approach. You will be proactive, have excellent time management skills, the ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple things at once – always with a smile.

You will have a corporate hospitality background with experience managing and leading front of house teams - both waitstaff and reception. You are known for leading and inspiring teams that set the highest standards.

You will need excellent computer skills as well as the ability to coordinate and service room bookings and catering requests. A background in hospitality where you have learnt to constantly adapt to change and innovation is vital.

THE POSITION

This is a hands-on role that involves building client and customer relationships. Based in stunning CBD offices, you will work on our client's reception as the first point of contact and face of their brand.

This role involves the coordination of the day-to-day operations of our corporate catering and client services, boardrooms and reception. You will meet and greet guests, answer phones, coordinate meeting room bookings and order catering. You will supervise, roster and cross train the hospitality team, set up systems and create operations manuals to ensure standards are set and upheld.

You will work closely with our client to learn their corporate culture and tailor the Gastronomy service on site, to deliver exceptional service. We are looking for someone with excellent relationship management skills who communicates with impact and can inspire confidence in our clients. You will earn the trust of our teams through your hands-on approach and operational knowledge.

MINIMUM criteria to apply:

  • 3 + years' experience in hospitality leadership roles
  • 3 + years premium concierge or reception experience within a corporate environment or 5 star hotel
  • 2 + years' experience in corporate hospitality environments preferable
  • RSA certification
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent computer skills – word, excel, outlook, room booking systems an advantage
  • Demonstrated previous experience with critical analysis situations and proactive problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Experience in effective and engaging communication with various skilled and unskilled employees
  • Proven record of training and building teams
  • Previous experience with WH&S Legislation and best practice and applying this knowledge within a changing work environment.
  • Multimedia (Meeting room AV etc..) experience highly regarded
