About the Role Alzheimer's WA is seeking a dynamic Senior ManagerPeople and Capability to join our team. This key leadership role will provide strategic People & Capability and Employee Relations advice to support a fair and values-driven workplace in alignment with best practice and legislative requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make an impact in a growing organisation with a strong commitment to values-driven leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR strategies focused on capability building, talent management, and performance enhancement.
- Workforce Planning & Development: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives, including the creation of individual development plans.
- Policy & Compliance Oversight: Drive the review and development of HR policies, ensuring alignment with employment laws and regulatory standards.
- Performance & Talent Management: Manage systems for appraisals, job evaluations, and talent development to support organisational goals.
- Remuneration & Benefits: Support the design and evaluation of compensation structures and employee benefits packages.
- Learning & Succession Planning: Implement frameworks for learning and development, and lead succession planning efforts.
- HRIS & Data Utilisation: Enhance HRIS capabilities and use workforce data to inform strategic decisions.
- Employee Relations & Change Management: Coach managers on ER practices, manage grievances and investigations, support change consultations, and represent the organisation in formal proceedings.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline.
- 5+years of ER and P&C experience at a senior level.
- Deep knowledge of employment legislation, enterprise agreements and award interpretation.
- A strategic mindset and confidence working with senior stakeholders and external bodies.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- Current WA Driver's License, police clearance, COVID-19 Vaccination (3 doses).
