We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join and be an integral part of our growing Sub-Division team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Sub-Division Lead, the Project Manager will play a key role in managing and leading our operational teams across our Sub-division sector.
Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to project manage tasks associated with the projects and business sector.
Responsibilities & Duties (Including but not limited to the following general statements describing the general nature & level of work expected)
General
· Oversee multiple projects
· Management of site teams
· Client management & liaison
· Prepare construction programs
· Liaise with stakeholders internally and externally
· Manage budget and financial aspects of project
· Oversee costing and quality control
· Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
· Resource and materials allocation
· Co-Ordination of Operations at site - (site set up, inductions, purchasing and deliveries)
· Manage workflows and Time sheets
· Maintain documentation relating to the projects. (Registers, ITP's, Purchase orders)
· Ensure invoices are prepared/detailed for accounts
· Participate in weekly staff meetings
· Prepare invoices - monthly or as project dictated
Safety and Environmental specific
· Support Health and Safety – always champion a safety environment and a positive attitude toward safety and environment within the business.
· Ensure all projects comply with HSE legislation and workplace safety.
· Consult with Staff/Contractors as to their HSE requirements.
· Incident management – assist in investigation of incidents.
· Compliance Inspections/Audits – conduct a periodic audit at sites to verify compliance.
· Participate in toolbox talks, HSEQ meetings.
What You Bring:
· Hold a relevant qualification
· Have a minimum of 4 -8 years' experience in construction, preferably in the sub-division sector
· Be highly organised and manage time effectively
· Have strong project management skills (min 3 years' experience in Australia)
· Have a working knowledge of contract administration, estimating, programming, sub-contractor, and client liaison roles
· Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with field crews and leadership.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
