Kenthurst Nursery is proudly one of Sydney's largest wholesale nurseries. Spanning over three large sites we have grown exponentially since establishment in 1980.

Situated in the quiet suburbs of Kenthurst and Glenorie we have devoted over 40 acres in land to our production. Kenthurst Nursery offers one of the largest varieties of ground covers, grasses, shrubs and trees in the Sydney metro region.

About the Role

An early 2026 immediate start position exists for an experienced Production Nursery Manager / Site Supervisor for our Glenorie site.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of production and maintenance staff.
  • Coordinating daily production and maintenance work activities (i.e. potting, plant maintenance, stock selection, staking, pruning, reporting)
  • Training and coaching staff on correct production and maintenance procedures
  • Pest and Disease identification and control
  • Ongoing management and upkeep of irrigation systems
  • Daily start-up and shut down processes
  • Assisting sales staff with day to day enquiries (stock images and availability)

About you (Skills & Experience)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Nursery Production
  • Previous Managerial experience essential
  • Cert III Nursery Qualifications or equivalent practical experience
  • Full Drivers License
  • Physically fit as this is a hands on active role with some heavy lifting
  • ChemCert Certificate – Preferred (can be supplied by employer)
  • Strong Communication and Organisational Skills
  • Strong Work ethic and can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail, Able to lead a team and be a team player
