With a sprawling site spanning 55 acres in Glenorie, we nurture and grow over 5 million quality plants each year, providing up to 80% of the plants sold in Flower Power Garden Centres while also providing for a wide range of trade and industry customers.

About the role

We're on the lookout for a ChemCERT certified Horticultural Spray Technician to join the team at Arborglen, our growing wholesale production nursery. Based in Glenorie, this full-time role will see you responsible for the regular application of the necessary chemicals to help our quality Homegrown plants reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Applying pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and growth regulators to nursery stock
• Operating equipment including hand sprayers and tractors
• Preparation, calibration and regular maintenance of spray equipment
• Adherence to strict health and safety compliance regulations
• Maintaining accurate, detailed records of application specifics, including product name, application rate, timing, and location

Skills & Attributes Required

• ChemCERT certification
• Experience with nursery chemical application
• A valid driver's license plus your own vehicle
• Great teamwork skills with the ability to work autonomously
• A drive to achieve and maintain high standards
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• A passion for plants and horticulture
