Your day to day will consist of...
Serving as the QC EU & Governance Lead, your role will offer outstanding variety and influence. You will supervise the governance and quality control initiatives within the Technology Infrastructure department, ensuring seamless integration of robust documentation frameworks and consistent execution. Your expertise will steer the coordination, implementation, and oversight of critical governance components, supporting Optus IT's ambitious goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Offer strategic and operational assistance to facilitate the implementation of Quality Control projects in alignment with EU requirements.
Serve as a crucial link between AD Strategy & different workstreams, aiding in breaking down intricate tasks into achievable achievements with defined ownership.
Keep centralized tools (trackers, risk registers, dashboards) in place to guarantee visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate inputs for regular cadence meetings (e.g., work in progress sessions, steering committees) to maintain visibility and accountability across workstreams.
Develop and maintain standardized templates and mentorship to support consistency across all Quality Control initiatives, enabling robust governance and audit readiness.
Uplift charters and SOPs, ensuring they explicitly capture controls, reporting obligations, and compliance requirements linked to EU deliverables.
Update documentation regularly to reflect changing risks, regulations, and lessons, aligning with EU principles.
Facilitate clear traceability from commitments to evidence, strengthening confidence in Quality Control's ability to demonstrate compliance through robust documentation standards.
