We're seeking a motivated and professional Occupational Hygienist to join our in-house environmental team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Australia's biggest projects, providing expert advice, monitoring, and compliance solutions that keep workers safe and communities protected.

What you'll do:
  • Conduct onsite occupational hygiene assessments across dust, silica, fumes, gases and noise.
  • Deploy and manage Control Hire's latest monitoring technology, including cloud-connected dust, gas and noise monitors.
  • Prepare certified reports, risk assessments, and management plans (Air Quality Management Plans).
  • Provide specialist consulting to Tier 1 contractors, councils and government authorities.
  • Support clients with compliance under WHS, EPA and SafeWork Australia regulations.
  • Work closely with Control Hire's engineering team to design integrated hazard control solutions.
What we're looking for:
  • Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in occupational hygiene, industrial hygiene or environmental monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace exposure standards (silica, diesel particulate matter, VOCs, noise).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise both site teams and senior management.
  • Self-motivated, safety-driven, and able to work independently across multiple projects.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required.
