About your New Job

We are looking for an assistant Accountant/ Admin person who has Financial acumen to work in the organization ideally 3 days a week

Your Responsibilities will be

  • Responsibility for accounts payable and receivable
  • Supervising and collecting outstanding client invoices
  • Implementing a small weekly payroll
  • Financial analysis in relation to Profit & Loss, cashflow and job costing
  • BAS & IAS reconciliation and submission
  • Reconcile all Credit Card Transactions
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Budgeting and forecasting with Director
  • Responsible for figures to be submitted to external accountant
  • Administration duties as required

About You

You will be an experienced Assistant Accountant that is tertiary qualified with the ability to provide support to the director of the company while working harmoniously with all staff. To be successful in this role you will ideally have exposure to the following:

  • Experience with Xero
  • Experience with payroll and some HR
  • Experience with Credit Card transactions
  • Technically savvy with Excel and good written communication skills
  • Experience with working with a small sales, operations and warehouse team but be able to work autonomously
  • Experience in preparing reports and figures for external Accountant
  • Experience with preparing figures to be submitted to an outhouse accountant at end of financial year
