HR Partners is excited to be partnering with a reputable global law firm to find their next HR Assistant to join their growing Sydney team.

This is an ideal role for an up-and-coming HR professional who is eager to join a best-practice firm and high-performing environment. The role will see the HR Assistant support a variety of HR administrative duties including, new employee onboarding and processing, database management, coordination of L&D initiatives, and general support of HR projects.

You'll be joining a collaborative and engaging team and will be reporting directly to the HR & Recruitment Manager in Sydney. The role has clear career progression with the opportunity to develop into a HR & Recruitment Coordinator position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with organisation and documentation of staff onboarding and offboarding
  • Support with the coordination of events, e.g. staff functions or L&D sessions
  • Respond to general internal inquiries regarding HR systems, policies, procedures and benefits
  • Act as a key contributor to the broader HR function, supporting with any HR projects that may arise
  • Be an upstanding member of the firm, acting with integrity and professionalism

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and will show excellent initiative. The firm is open to someone with no prior experience in HR however is also very open to candidates with 1-2 years of experience. Strong communication, written skills and attention to detail are a must have.

Ideally, the successful candidate will come from a professional services background, as this experience fosters a deep understanding of working in fast-paced, client-focused environments.
