Our client is a light industrial company with sites in Western Australia, Victoria and Queensland.

With 90+ staff the business is vertically integrated with a full procurement, production, logistics and sales / marketing team within the company.

Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Human Resources Advisor, working on-site at their Perth operation 3 days per week.

The HR advisor will support the delivery of daily transactional HR services while also leading transformative HR initiatives.

Primary responsibilities will be;

  • HR Administration
  • Overseeing the recruitment operations including defining position requirements, talent acquisition, screening and selection in collaboration with the line management.
  • Maintaining the company Org Chart
  • Oversee new employee administration including offers, onboarding and general inductions.
  • Provide advice and support to supervisory team when required on disciplinary procedures
  • Assist senior management with HR issues surround reorganisations, restructures and resultant dismissals and redundancies.
  • Integrate and support a performance management processes.
  • Offboarding when employees leave

Qualifications

Candidates will have;

  • Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) Management and HR Policies.
  • Experience with various Awards, Labour and Employment Laws.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to
    advise and guide line management on handling employee relations and performance management matters.
  • Awareness of management goals and priorities and how that related to HR delivery.
  • Experience with medium sized private / family owned businesses.
  • Responsive and flexible approach to addressing HR management matters.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Qualifications in HR and or Business management.
