We're seeking a dedicated Inventory Controller to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of stock, maintaining accuracy, and supporting seamless operations.

About the Role

As Inventory Controller, you will oversee the storage, tracking and distribution of veterinary drugs and products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining exceptional stock integrity. You'll work closely with the Inventory Manager and internal stakeholders to optimise inventory levels and prevent shortages all while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

The role is part of the Eastern Operations Hub, and whilst based in Timboon the role will work closely with clinic personnel in Allansford and Simpson to ensure the accuracy and integrity of stock control across the Hub. Some travel between clinics will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory processes, including receiving, storing, and dispatching pharmaceutical and veterinary products.
  • Maintain precise stock records, conduct regular audits, and monitor inventory trends.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and product handling guidelines.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
  • Identify and address discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to maintain accuracy.

  • Proven experience in inventory control, preferably in pharmaceutical or veterinary industries.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A commitment to maintaining the integrity and safety of veterinary drugs and products.
