Are you an organised, compassionate individual with a calm and professional manner? We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team at Victa Health. Our clinic is open all 7 days & job sharing is desired - hours & days of work are flexible.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in ensuring they receive a positive, efficient experience — whether over the phone or in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients at reception and over the phone
  • Booking, amending, and cancelling GP and nurse appointments
  • Handling various patient queries & also queries from affiliated clinics
  • Supporting clinicians and the wider practice team with administrative tasks - scanning, emails
  • Processing patient payments after consultation
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection guidelines

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role ( knowledge of Best Practice software is desirable but not a must )
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident IT skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy environment & prioritizing work flow
  • A caring, professional, and patient-focused attitude
