We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and motivated Medical Receptionist for a part time role in our practice. Our clinic has great GP's and friendly welcoming staff.

Ideally, the suitable candidate will be available for morning / afternoon and be able to cover leave when needed.

The following are considered essential for the position:

  • Medical reception experiences a must (minimum 1 year)
  • Best Practice software experience
  • A passion for customer service and exceptional communication and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a workload.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Be approachable and diligence.
  • Handle pressure and able to work independently.
  • Pleasant telephone manner.

Duties (but not limited to)

  • Meeting and greeting patients.
  • Answering phones and making appointments.
  • Billing and receipting money.
  • Entering and scanning patient data and documents.
  • Process Medicare billings and payments accurately
  • Assist with day-to-day banking.
  • Troubleshooting / Problem solving.
