About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Systems Administrator to join our Finance team for 12 months for a maternity leave cover.

The Finance System Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimisation of Defence Health's financial systems. This role involves ensuring integrity, performance, and reliability of finance related software applications and platforms.

This role will work closely with the Finance team, IT team and external vendors to support Defence Health's financial operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance system administration, financial systems analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial software applications (Oracle Fusion, Infor SUN Systems and Adaptive Insights would be preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, along with a positive attitude.
