About the role
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our Finance Systems Team. This varied role will see you working collaboratively with IT Corporate teams to determine risks and controls across our Finance System, as well as system roadmaps, security and data governance, documentation and more.
A core focus to this role is information gathering, requiring you to make clear and concise decisions regarding financial data and its systems, working across BAU, projects, minor initiatives and business program work, and collaborating widely.
You'll also;
- Assist in the development of documentation relating to Finance Systems, Governance & internal controls
- Be the Finance Systems & Governance SME; representing Finance to initiatives impacting Finance Systems
- Liaise with IT on identified issues and Data controls, as well as the System Roadmap and version controls for Lifecycle Management inputs in keeping systems and applications current
- Support the BAU reporting, planning and analytical activities and act as the custodian of data within the Finance systems by establishing controls and adherence to policy
- Manage Security, Segregation of Duty, Yearly Review across all systems
- Provide ongoing input to Finance Systems team processes for the maintenance of efficiencies, including communications to relevant parties when there are system issues
You will have advanced knowledge of Finance processes and demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in said processes, including process mapping and systems implementation. You will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and previous experience working closely with a central digital / technology function.
You'll also have:
- Significant knowledge of core Finance systems, particularly Finance ERP (e.g. S/4 Hana) and EPM (e.g., TM1)
- CA / CPA or similar business qualification
- Agile Project Management qualifications desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
