Position: Finance Assistant

Hours: Part-Time 30 hours per week

Financial Stewardship: Navigate the landscape of financial transactions and reporting, transforming data into insights that drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: Handle data entry of bills and creditors payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage the creation, sending, and follow-up of invoices to debtors.
  • Financial Records Management: Maintain accurate records of credit card transactions and reconcile statements.
  • Month End Processes: Assist with the reconciliation of aged payables and complete end-of-month checklists.
  • Banking: Handle weekly banking tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Compliance Reporting: Generate and submit financial reports in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Previous experience in finance or accounting roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.

Essential:

  • Working with Children (Blue Card).
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card(Yellow Card).
  • Current Driver's License.
