YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Lead People & Culture Business Partner at Altius, you will report to the General Manager People & Culture and will step into a true hands-on HR generalist role with your responsibilities including, but not limited to
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on matters across the employment lifecycle;
- Coaching leaders to build high performing, engaged teams;
- Mediate and provide assistance to managers and employees to ensure that all employee grievance and discipline issues are managed in accordance with policies and legislative requirements;
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the broader Altius Group;
- Project Management of key People and Culture projects;
- Workforce planning and talent development activities;
- Keeping abreast of all Industrial Relations and other relevant legislative changes.
- Please note this is a maternity leave cover role
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar discipline;
- Previous HR Business Partner experience in the Health Care Industry is preferable however not essential;
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work Legislation and Modern Awards with developed ability to interpret, communicate and implement;
- Proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships and influence stakeholders;
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
