YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Lead People & Culture Business Partner at Altius, you will report to the General Manager People & Culture and will step into a true hands-on HR generalist role with your responsibilities including, but not limited to

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on matters across the employment lifecycle;
  • Coaching leaders to build high performing, engaged teams;
  • Mediate and provide assistance to managers and employees to ensure that all employee grievance and discipline issues are managed in accordance with policies and legislative requirements;
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the broader Altius Group;
  • Project Management of key People and Culture projects;
  • Workforce planning and talent development activities;
  • Keeping abreast of all Industrial Relations and other relevant legislative changes.
  • Please note this is a maternity leave cover role

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar discipline;
  • Previous HR Business Partner experience in the Health Care Industry is preferable however not essential;
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work Legislation and Modern Awards with developed ability to interpret, communicate and implement;
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships and influence stakeholders;
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
