Introduction:
House Surveys is seeking an experienced and motivated Surveyor to join our expanding team based in East Brisbane. Join a supportive and dynamic team where you'll have the chance to work on a range of interesting projects, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute to shared goals in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role is focused on cadastral surveying, and we welcome applications from individuals who are in the early stages of their cadastral experience or have a strong interest in developing their skills in this area.
Your Role and Impact:
- Project Contribution: Play a key role in highly technical and interesting cadastral projects, contributing to their success and quality.
- Surveying Excellence: Conduct precise and accurate surveys, ensuring high-quality results.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy in all surveying tasks.
- Fieldwork and Office Tasks: Engage in a diverse array of tasks, including fieldwork, office calculations, pre-calculations, sketches, and processing.
- Client Interaction: Liaise with internal personnel and clients, ensuring smooth communication and project progress.
- Innovation: Utilise advanced surveying technologies and methodologies, driving innovation in all your projects.
What You Bring:
- Expertise: Proven experience as a surveyor, with exposure to cadastral based projects advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using 12d software, Trimble, and Leica Survey equipment.
- Qualifications: Bachelor or Associate degree in Surveying, with registration from the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Graduate Surveyor or higher being highly regarded.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent time management and organisational skills, ensuring accuracy and high-quality results.
- Passion: A strong passion for working with a top-tier team of professionals, contributing to significant projects.
About You:
- Relevant qualifications in surveying and professional registration (or working towards)
- Proven experience in property development surveys
- Strong understanding of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A passion for the surveying profession and commitment to delivering exceptional service
