Graduate Land Surveyor

Beveridge Williams is a privately owned multi-disciplinary development and infrastructure consultancy renowned for its expertise in surveying, civil engineering, traffic & transport engineering, town planning, urban design, environmental engineering and landscape architecture.  Our company employs over 430+ staff across 13 offices in both Victoria and New South Wales.

Beveridge Williams is seeking a Graduate Land Surveyor to join our Malvern office in Victoria.  It is expected that you will have some relevant Cadastral industry experience. We offer the opportunity to join an industry leading Survey business where you will be mentored and trained by some of the best Surveyors the industry has to offer. For individuals with the right experience and qualifications, we could also offer a Professional Training Agreement (PTAs).

The successful applicant will be motivated, enthusiastic and be able to undertake or be trained to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Ensure work environment is efficient and safe;
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained in good condition;
• Cadastral and Re-establishment Surveys;
• Preparation of Survey plans;
• Subdivisions;
• Lease area surveys;
• Control surveys;
• Asset Recording – sewer, water and A-Spec;
• Feature and level surveys;
• Engineering surveys – Engineering / Building set out, monitoring volume surveys, level and estate control;
• Drafting and checking of cadastral survey documents and survey plans;
• Preparation and supply of documentation to Land Registry;
• Maintaining knowledge of survey and planning related legislation, strategy and policy;

Ideally, the candidate will have:

• Driver's license;
• Experience in undertaking a variety of field surveys;
• Experience in undertaking reductions and processing their own field surveys;
• Ability to work unsupervised with good communication skills;
• Experience with Trimble total stations and GPS Equipment would be an advantage;
• AutoCAD experience (preferable, but not essential).
