Fyfe works with a wide range of clients in the Property & Infrastructure and Energy & Resources sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.
This role will see you:

  • Provide office-based support for the Urban Development Team for successful delivery of consulting services to a broad range of industry leading clients
  • Assist the Urban Development team with the management of client instructions, job briefs, calculations, drafting & quality assurance
  • Mentoring & training of colleagues & on-site field auditing of cadastral services
  • Working on a diverse range of large-scale land development projects within SEQ as well as rural and remote areas
  • Engaging with our multi-discipline divisions to deliver a collaborative project outcome
  • Access to a range of modern survey equipment such as UAV/Drones, 3D Laser Scanners, SLAM, Trimble GPSs and RTSs
  • Training & Development to progress technical and managerial skills in the Cadastral Sector within a supportive corporate environment

Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have high level communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and staff to ensure successful delivery of survey projects. Personal requirements for this role are to include:

  • Experience working on Urban Development Projects with a focus on SE Queensland
  • Registration with Surveyors Board of Queensland. Canidate proactively progressing towards surveyor registration preferred. Applications are invited from Associate Surveyors with extensive experience in Urban Development
  • Experience managing, reviewing and producing client deliverables captured with UAV/Drones, 3D Laser Scanners, Trimble GPS, RTS utilising Trimble Business Centre (preferred) and AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of Cadastral reinstatement principals, Queensland Cadastral Survey legislation and regulations
  • Strong proficiency and applied expertise in Surveying practices and techniques.
  • High level of organisation & communication skills
  • Commercially Pragmatic with the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions for any issue that may arise
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships across Fyfe business units, clients and external stakeholders
