Join Sunwater as a Surveyor, where you’ll play a vital role assist in the scheduling and delivering deformation surveys on Sunwater and external client’s dams and weirs.

You will undertake other engineering surveys (including embankment crest and dam structure details) and GPS surveys as part of Australian Height Datum (AHD) validation.

As a Surveyor at Sunwater, you will be prepared for significant regional travel, whilst focusing on maintaining a very high level of accuracy on all surveys. In addition, you will:

- Assist in the planning and execution of an efficient annual program of deformation surveys for Sunwater dams and weirs, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget
- Liaise with clients, external agencies and professional bodies to ensure that survey practices reflect industry standard practices, are relevant and appropriate to meet current and future needs; and to monitor surveying industry trends and keep abreast of technology developments
- Coordination of survey work to ensure priorities and deadlines are met

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in deformation surveys. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Surveying or other equivalent qualifications. Be registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ) or endorsed to perform Cadastral Surveys in Queensland. You will also bring:

- **Attention to detail**:Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain appropriate surveying standards and procedures, particularly as they relate to regulations relevant to land administration
- **Communication skills**: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
