Multiquip is a leader in servicing the poultry and construction materials industries, committed to delivering reliable, efficient and safe transport services.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Transport Allocator to join our team in our Beresfield office.

The Role

As the Transport Allocator you will oversee the daily scheduling, coordination and performance of our drivers and fleet. Your focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries, driver compliance, vehicle safety and operational efficiency. This role is allocating Bulk Stock Feed and Offal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations and delivery schedules
  • Monitor driver performance, attendance and compliance with safety and fatigue regulations
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure service expectations are met
  • Investigate and resolve delivery issues or incidents as they arise
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and serviced according to schedules
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a transport/logistics allocations role
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and NHVR regulations
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team and resolve issues under pressure
  • Knowledge of the Sydney Metropolitan area (including Newcastle and Goulburn)
  • Sound computer skills
  • Work Monday to Friday with after hours and weekend calls as required
  • Handle emails and emergency calls after hours
