About the role

Join the dynamic team at McGrath Newcastle as a Transport Operations (Allocator / Administrator). This full-time role in our Carrington, NSW 2294 office will see you playing a crucial part in the smooth and efficient running of our transport operations. As an integral member of our Fleet Management team, you will be responsible for coordinating vehicle movements, allocating resources, and ensuring all transport activities are completed safely and on time.

What you'll be doing

  • Allocating and scheduling transport resources to meet customer demands
  • Coordinating the movement and tracking of vehicles and drivers
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport regulations and policies
  • Communicating with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to transport operations
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency
  • Supporting the broader team with administrative tasks as required

  • Proven experience in a similar transport operations or fleet management role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
