Based in Booragoon as part of a small but growing team, this is a part-time office administrator / purchasing officer/accounts payable role. You will fulfill a new but integral role enabling the day-to-day operations of our growing Round n Round Design business as it expands business activities with a national footprint.
A typical day looks like;
Overseeing the purchasing function, including raising purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, liaising with suppliers and managing the accounts payable process
Invoice processing and other minor data entry related tasks
Contributing to continuous workflow improvements.
- Providing administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, organising meetings, booking travel and shipping, preparing correspondence and completing other general administrative tasks
What you can bring to the business;
- Minimum 2-3 years proven experience as an office administrator or purchasing officer, ideally in a compliance focused, relationship building environment
Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management, purchase order creation, and stock level monitoring
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Previous experience with accounts payable processing and invoice management systems including Microsoft Office suite, and Xero software.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions and data analysis
A keen eye for detail, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously, with a flexible and adaptable approach to working in a small team (this does not mean you will be wearing many hats)
Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa.
