ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a permanent part time Administration Officer to join our Head Office team in Carabooda.

The position requires someone who can work the following days and hours:

  • Wednesday 2.00pm - 5.00pm
  • Thursday 2.00pm - 6.30pm
  • Friday 12.00pm - 4.30pm

Additional hours may be required on these days, therefore someone with flexibility to work after these hours would be required. There may also be opportunity to work additional hours on Monday's and Tuesday's during busy periods and to cover leave.

The key responsibility in this position will be to process invoices, however other administrative tasks may include:

  • Typing and data entry for orders, invoices, and other documents
  • Generate reports and store completed work in designated locations
  • Process new and existing orders by accurately inputting data for computer entry
  • Investigate errors and anomalies, correct and rectify where possible
  • Prepare, sort and export data to order forms and stock lists
  • Maintain databases to ensure they hold accurate and current information
  • Answering and redirecting phone calls to ensure excellent customer service
  • General office duties such as scanning, filing, archiving, and ordering supplies
  • Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks as required

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an Administration role
  • Bring a cheerful, friendly, and "can do" attitude
  • Have strong organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Be able to work independently while contributing to a team
  • Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn
  • Have flexibility to work overtime
  • Have your own transportation or be able to reach our Carabooda Nursery without the use of public transport
