Your role

The role of a Project Officer is critical and essential for Portfolio Delivery Unit to maintain and upkeep the many facets of the Quality Management Systems (QMS). The role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of project requirements for the Housing Portfolio. This includes the successful and accurate management of tasks associated with administration; 'triaging' of priority tasks and proactive identification of system, policy and process improvements to consistently meet divisional and organisational requirements and enhance business satisfaction.

What you'll do

As the Project Officer, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the QMS requirements within the Housing Portfolio Division function as assigned including:

  • Support the QMS and Reporting by implement and maintaining project reporting and documentation processes, ensuring updates align with QMS requirements for managers, directors, and key stakeholders.

  • Apply knowledge of admin requirements and business priorities to effectively manage tasks, while capturing and sharing insights to drive continuous improvement of processes and systems.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, provide advice and enhance best practices, compliance, and continuous improvement across systems and documentation.

  • Manage assigned projects using project management principles, coordinate resources, monitor progress and apply risk management measures.

  • Analyse and report on systems and processes for efficiency, cost and quality, documenting lessons learned and contributing to ongoing business process improvement.

  • Ability to work through high-volume workloads

  • Strong work ethic and problem solver

  • Demonstrated capability in collaboration, data capture, analysis, information presentation and reporting.

  • Knowledge of and/ or experience in application of Quality Management System (QMS) systems and processes
