We're Hiring – sushi Chef (manager)

We are looking for you to join our team

  • Work Schedule: 5-6days a week, around 45-55 hours staring 9:30am-9:30pm (break 1-2hours)
  • Location: Just 1-minute walk from Central Station
  • Benefits: Staff meal provided

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Able to help kitchen prepare food and cleaning
  • Able to handle seafood (sashimi, nigiri, Rolls)
  • Friendly, hardworking, reliable, and consistent with attendance
  • Develop and execute innovative Japanese menu items, including sushi, sashimi, rolls, and hot dishes
  • Ensure a timely service that meets customer expectations

About You:

  • Experience in similar roles (e.g. nigiri chef, roll maker, hot food cook) preferred
  • Able to ordering stocks
  • Cost control
  • Previous experience in a conveyor-belt sushi setting is highly desirable
  • Punctual, organised, and reliable
  • Presentable and professional appearance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong leadership and staff motivation skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
  • Capable of conflict resolution and quick decision-making
  • Willing to take initiative and ownership of responsibilities
