The Role

We are seeking a pro-active and results driven Mineral Processing Sales/ Account Manager to join our friendly team located in Forrestfield, Western Australia on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Sales and Operations Leadership Team, this role will be at the forefront of developing lasting customer relationships, driving business growth and delivering hands on technical and operations support to our clients. This role offers variety, with frequent travel to remote mine sites within Australia and internationally, combined with the opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with Customers and Suppliers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities or leads to generate sales and support growth.

Customer Account/ Order Management

• Collaborate with the sales and engineering team to create customised product solutions that meet client requirements.

• Manage nominated customer accounts, including:

• Site stock control

• Monitoring of parts in service

• Design and material improvements

• Create bespoke technical reports, compelling proposals and presentations

• Manage all aspects of customer orders, including:

• Specifications, procurement, expediting, reporting, and risk management.

• Coordinate inspection, logistics, and quality records.

Site Operations Support

• Participate in planned shutdowns, performing wear monitoring using laser scanning technology and physical measurement techniques
• Forecasting maintenance needs, conduct site visits, inspections and troubleshoot issues, offering expert advice to clients.
• Support site teams with inspections and reline supervision

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral processing or a similar related discipline and/or substantial equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience in a technical commercial role such as mineral processing, sales or a business development role, combined with demonstrated experience in the sales of equipment spares and the delivery of technical services
• A strong technical understanding of fixed plant equipment, with specific higher-level expertise in grinding mills and their application in mineral processing operations.
• A current, unrestricted driver's licence.

• Willingness to:

• Complete fitness for work medicals necessary to safely work in environments which may include exposure to hot, dry and dusty conditions

• Obtain and maintain all necessary site access certifications, which may include a National Police Clearance, Construction Induction Card (White Card) Confined Space, and Working at Heights

The ideal candidate will also possess:

• An established professional network within mineral processing operations
• Superior communication and client engagement skills, with a clear results-driven focus.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
