As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated and experienced Leading Hand/Site Supervisor to join our crew.
We are seeking a hands-on leader who can take ownership of day-to-day site operations on our new site in Newcastle. You'll work closely with our Project Manager to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Buildster's quality standards. This is a great opportunity for an experienced supervisor looking for a company that values their expertise.

Candidates must have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a leading hand or site supervisor capacity.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive site safety, ensure compliance, record, and contribute to a strong safety culture
· Oversee daily site activities and coordinate trades and subcontractors
· Assist with scheduling, sequencing, and short-range planning
· Maintain quality control and uphold Buildster's workmanship standards
· Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and management
· Read and interpret drawings and ensure work aligns with specifications
· Hands-on work when required to keep the project moving
About You
· Experience in a Leading Hand or Site Supervisor role
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Ability to lead by example and motivate the site team
· A proactive problem-solver with attention to detail
· Experience using Hammertech is desirable
· White Card (required)
· Driver's licence and reliable transport
· Must be an Australian Citizen
· Additional tickets desirable (e.g., Working at Heights, EWP, First Aid)
