About the Company & Role:

Our client is a leading supplier of Laboratory Technology & Equipment, renowned for delivering innovative and reliable analytical solutions across Australia, New Zealand & PNG. This is a great opportunity to kickstart your career as a Field Service Technician - full training is provided You'll gain hands-on experience with advanced instrumentation, travel nationally, and be part of a dynamic, highly-skilled team at the forefront of scientific innovation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installation and commissioning of analytical instruments at customer sites
  • Conduct routine maintenance and calibratation of analytical instruments
  • Deliver on-site and remote troubleshooting and technical support to customers
  • Train customers on equipment use, maintenance, and best practices
  • Diagnose faults and perform timely repairs on instrumentation
  • Build strong, professional relationships with customers

Note: This role involves frequent travel across Australia & New Zealand. A company vehicle will be provided to support your work in the field.

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation
  • Industry exposure in petrochemical, refining, or industrial lab environments (highly regarded)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Solid computer literacy and technical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
