Sharpe Engineering is seeking a full-time, permanent Trade Assistant for the night shift at our Virginia, QLD workshop. So if you are ready to roll up your sleeves and work hard, then we invite you to apply now and become a part of a team that prioritises its people and community.

About the role: 

This hands-on role will report to the Workshop Supervisor and be responsible for assisting the tradespersons in performing various tasks/duties in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate operations.

This includes loading, operating, and monitoring machines, tools, and equipment. Buffing pipe, organising packaging for transport and carrying out cleaning duties.

This is a great opportunity for driven individuals who are looking for a long-term and rewarding role with a strong and stable company.

Please note: A forklift license is required. This is not a FIFO or rostered position.

  • Forklift license
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Be physically fit.
  • Genuine team player and a willingness to help others when needed.
