We seek a Full-Time Service Technician, who is available to provide support to our growing team in Virginia. This is a fast-paced but very rewarding role, that will require you to work efficiently and accurately.

Your responsibilities:

  • Service and repair all medical and mobility equipment in the field and workshop
  • Liaise with Customers, Service Coordinators, Field Technicians, Workshop Technicians and other internal departments to get the best outcomes for our customers
  • Prepare and follow up quotes for repairs
  • Submit a service report once the job is done.
  • Prioritise and complete work so that ILS meets its contractual agreements and delivers customer service excellence
  • Provide feedback on the quality and serviceability of our products so ILS can continuously improve
  • Propose solutions to improve the customer experience and make ILS Servicing more efficient and effective
  • Maintain your Service vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is well stocked with parts and consumables
  • Other duties within the Service team as required

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience in repairing and maintaining equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot unsupervised
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Products
  • A friendly, proactive, and professional personality with a desire to listen, understand and assist with client needs
  • Previous field service experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Solid computer skills
  • A friendly, proactive, and professional personality with a genuine desire to listen, understand, and assist with client needs
  • Current driver's license.
  • Willingness to obtain: Police Check, Working with Children's check and NDIS Worker Check
  • Willingness to: VPD Serology & Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Must be fully Covid-19 Vaccinated
  • You will be highly regarded if you have demonstrated skills working in the health sector &/or with individuals with a medical condition or disability.
  • Previous experience in medical equipment repairs is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of powered wheelchairs and mobility scooters will be highly regarded
