Men's Legal Service is a not-for-profit law firm established in 2016.

Its mission making pragmatic, cost-effective legal services available to men at turning points in the lives of men and their families.

Our primary focus is on assisting fathers to continue to be available and involved in the lives of their children after family law events.

About the role

You will be a valued member of a team of family lawyers assisting predominantly men with family law and domestic violence matters.

As a true 'not-for-profit' law firm financial budget is highly realistic and allows for a pragmatic approach to client files, work life balance and professional development.

Salary Sacrifice - MLS is a registered not-for-profit and approved DGR and PBI - meaning that the highest degree of salary sacrifice is available for our staff.

This position is an on-site role and requires attendance in our Melbourne office. Interstate applications welcome with our national footprint you can also keep your job with us and continue to grow with us if you move.

Skills and experience

Strong experience and technical experience in family law is preferred.

This is an ideal role for a mid-level family lawyer looking for a change of pace and opportunity for advancement within a growing not-for-profit organization.

The position is commencing 19 January 2026.
