Our Solutions Group is growing, and we're looking for a detail-driven Estimator to join our multidisciplinary team.

As part of our Solutions Group, you'll help win business across the Large Power (LPS), Major Rental, Engine Solutions (ES) and Electrification & Energy Solutions (E&ES) business units, tackling complex projects across the mining, oil & gas, data centres, power generation, industrial, hybrid (incl. energy storage), and Defence sectors.

About the Role

As an Estimator, you'll play a critical role in developing competitive and accurate costings for projects that support our customers' power needs. You'll collaborate with engineers, project managers, and the broader team to prepare tender responses, proposals, and estimates that set us apart in the market.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare accurate estimates and cost models for power generation and energy projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technical and commercial inputs are captured.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and client requirements to build tailored solutions.
  • Support tender submissions and proposal development.
  • Work closely with other members of the Solutions Group to ensure estimates are competitive, achievable, and aligned with business objectives.

About You

You're detail-oriented, analytical, and commercially minded. You enjoy working in a collaborative team and have a knack for turning complex project requirements into clear and accurate costings. Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in estimating, preferably within power generation, engineering, or construction.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with estimating tools, Microsoft Excel, and costing systems
