THE OPPORTUNITY
This newly created role will see you lead the developing and coordinating of the strategic asset management framework, analysing life cycle costs providing recommendations of asset performance and/or improvement.

**The role will be responsible for**:

- A Group wide Strategic Asset management framework.
- Asset Management Policy and Principles.
- Strategic Asset Management Plans.
- Develop plans to support initiatives, ensure stakeholders are engaged and provide regular updates, capable of senior leadership communication on a regular basis.
- Monitor and track the outcomes of Asset Lifecycle Plans and continuously look for opportunities for improvements.
- Provide inputs to improvement programs including suitable projects, estimated value, and schedule for delivery, governance, sponsorship, assessment and prioritisation.
- Lead the implementation of the City FM Asset Management Framework, ensure appropriate engagement and "buy-in" from stakeholders to ensure success.
- Building strong relationships throughout the business and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and processes are key attributes to be successful in this position.
- Provide representations and updates to senior stakeholders.

**To succeed in this role, you will have/be**:

- A Masters or Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with proven results in their specialist area with the ability to translate this to a continuous improvement environment.
- Developed strategic asset management plans and have a working knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO55001.
- Strategic thinker who can articulate complex problems into simple concepts and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, you enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Organised person with the ability to prioritise, delegate and remain calm under pressure.
- Proven experience writing reports and telling compelling stories using data.
- Proven success motivating and driving high performance in teams.
