We have a current opportunity for a
Project and Stakeholder Support Consultant
, on a contract basis within the Defence sector. The role is based in
Canberra, ACT
. The contract is for an
initial 6 month period, with a 3 month extension option
.

Start: circa Oct 2025

DSS Skill Set: Level 3 - Project Management Services & Support

The Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Apply project management methodologies to define, set, track and review branch objectives, goals, risks and reports.
  • Plan and schedule branch resources through appropriate employment of project tools.
  • Prepare and report progress for operations of the branch.
  • Communicate and coordinate engagement for the scheduling and conduct of meetings, workshops and activities.
  • In conjunction with the centralised Project Management Office, assist in developing and maintaining project management methods, systems and documentation.
  • Participate in briefings to officials as required.
  • Quality Management - create and archive documentation directly related to work such as project briefings, minutes and other supporting material as required.

Minimum mandatory requirements:

  • AGSVA Security clearance
  • Defence experience
  • Project Management qualifications and experience
  • Experience with task management, scheduling and resource management
