Job Summary:

Park Regis Concierge Apartments is a Boutique four-star apartment hotel, located in the heart of Cremorne, meters away from Public Transport Entertainment, Cremorne's best restaurants, cafes and bars.

We are currently seeking a motivated and hands on Part Time handyperson to join our small guest centric team.  The successful applicant who will ill perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure that the guest apartments, building common areas, and equipment are in good working order. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set, allowing them to tackle different projects and respond to the needs of guest and residents effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • General Repairs: Handle minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry repairs.
  • Installation: Install fixtures, appliances, furniture, and hardware.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine building maintenance,
  • Troubleshooting: Identify issues and promptly resolve problems related to building systems and equipment.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of completed work, including invoices and expenses.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Time Management: Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to complete work efficiently.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.

· Skills: Proficient in using hand and power tools; strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.

· Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.

· Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills..

Working Conditions:
