Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services across the Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Grounds Maintenance worker to join our Facilities Management Team based out of ourDaceyville and Potts Hill maintaining all our Sydney Water sites.
Primary Purpose:Upkeep of the grounds on over 600 Sydney Water sites including Pumping stations, Water Recycling plants, Main Offices, Depots, childcare centre.
Activities may include a combination of the following:
- Grass cutting
- Mowing
- Slashing of open grassed areas
- Weed control
- Garden maintenance
- Hardstand maintenance and courtyards
- Site maintenance including fence line clearing and general handyperson-type duties as required
- Graffiti removal
- Removal of green waste
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- White Card
- Truck Licence - essential
- Chemical Spraying Accreditation (AQF3)
- Recent experience in a similar role
Desirable experience to support site maintenance needs:
- Fence repairs & maintenance
- Graffiti removal and site cleaning
- External façade & building fabric repairs
- Painting and general handyman/make‑safe tasks
- Site condition inspections
