About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Bar, Bistro and Gaming Staff to join our vibrant team at the Portland Memorial Bowling Club in Portland, VIC 3305. These are casual positions, with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.

What you may be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer service in our bar, bistro and gaming areas
  • Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management
  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable advice to customers
  • Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing and gaming regulations
  • Supporting the broader operations of the club as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality and tourism industry preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours
