About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for energetic and customer-focused Bar & Bistro Staff to join the team at the Yandina Hotel in Yandina, QLD. This casual role will see you playing a key part in delivering a memorable dining and drinking experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  2. Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
  3. Assisting with food service, including delivering meals to tables and clearing tables
  4. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bar and bistro areas
  5. Adhering to all relevant licensing laws and health & safety policies
  6. Supporting the wider hospitality team as required

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience working in a fast-paced bar or hospitality environment
  2. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
  3. Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol and food handling best practices
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  5. The ability to work effectively under pressure and remain calm in busy periods
  6. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
