About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for energetic and customer-focused Bar & Bistro Staff to join the team at the Yandina Hotel in Yandina, QLD. This casual role will see you playing a key part in delivering a memorable dining and drinking experience to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
- Assisting with food service, including delivering meals to tables and clearing tables
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bar and bistro areas
- Adhering to all relevant licensing laws and health & safety policies
- Supporting the wider hospitality team as required
What we're looking for
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced bar or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol and food handling best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and remain calm in busy periods
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
