Role Overview

The Account Manager is expected to lead the day to day management of our key account in the automotive sector. This role will initially focus on our key client in Australia and its affiliated brands, requiring expertise in client relationship management, strategic communication, social media planning, and project execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills in client engagement, collaboration, and resource coordination, ensuring the on-time delivery and management of high-impact marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary contact for our key client in Australia and it's associated brands.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, including on-site visits at the client office (1–2 days per week).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client goals and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Assist the development and oversee comprehensive social media strategies tailored to client objectives.
  • Oversee communication and collaboration with the client, and creative and operational teams to produce innovative, engaging, and impactful content.
  • Ensure campaigns align with brand guidelines and industry best practices.

Internal Resource Coordination

  • Serve as the liaison between internal departments, including creative, copywriting, and operations teams.
  • Efficiently allocate resources to prioritize and meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Facilitate clear communication to ensure seamless project execution and optimal results.

Project Bid Coordination

  • Assist in the development of project proposals for new opportunities.
  • Pursue opportunities to grow and add client accounts, when time permits.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Account Management in the Advertising Industry, or similar relevant experience.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content strategy.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Experience in proposal and bid preparation (Desireable, but not essential)
