Marketing Assistant and Content Creator

Location: Brendale, QLD

Employment Type: Part-Time (potential for Full Time down the track)

Whif isn't your average perfume brand—we're the designer-inspired, vegan fragrance label shaking up the industry and winning over customers nationwide. In just 18 months, we've sold over 500,000 bottles and built a loyal fanbase who love luxury scents without the luxury markup.

We're now looking for a talented Marketing and Content Creator Assistant to join our Brendale Head Office. You'll be the creative force behind our social media, content campaigns, and brand storytelling—helping us make every scroll, click, and view count.

Your Daily Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Be comfortable in front of camera. Shoot, edit, and produce engaging photos, videos, and social content that showcase our fragrances and brand personality.
  • Marketing Master: Curate and refresh our marketing collateral like a pro – keeping our brand looking fun, fresh, fierce, and flawlessly on-point.
  • Social Media Management: Plan and schedule posts across multiple platforms, engage with our community, and grow our following with content that stops the scroll.
  • Creative Mastery: Tools like Canva, Photoshop, and video editing software (Capcut) to craft eye-popping visuals and videos that turn "likes" into loyal followers and customers.
  • PR & UGC Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and creators to generate brand coverage and user-generated content.
  • Campaign Leadership: Lead marketing ad campaign planning and execution from concept, ad filming, editing to reporting, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Community Management: Manage and grow our Facebook group, organise community events, and nurture a loyal brand community.
  • Brand Storytelling: Write compelling captions, ad copy, and product descriptions that align with Whif's confident, playful, and casual tone.
  • Creative Asset Management: Keep our content library organised and up to date, ensuring all marketing materials are on-brand and ready to use.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor social media and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 1+ years in a marketing, social media, or content creation role (e-commerce or beauty industry experience is a bonus).
  • Social Media and Ads Savvy: Confident being in front of a camera to film for organics and Paid ads (THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE). Manage platforms TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms to drive engagement and sales.

  • Chat: Excel in verbal and written communication skills to collab seamlessly with Teams, Founders, and our Customers.
