Perth Airport is Australia's Western Hub connecting the people, businesses and communities of Western Australia with the rest of Australia and the world. Perth Airport is investing more than $5 billion in new infrastructure so we can support our airline partners to grow, offering more services to new destinations and an improved customer experience. This will be the largest funded private equity build in Western Australia for the last 30 years.
Over the coming decade we will expand T1 International, and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks and our first airport hotel. This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia which will host all flight services in a central location giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.
The Perth Airport estate is spread over 2100 hectares and has developed a $1.5 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings.

What you'll do:
We are on the lookout for a creative narrator with a data driven mindset to join our marketing team as Social Media & Content Lead.
As a key driver of our digital evolution, you'll report to the Digital Marketing Manager and spearhead the creation of bold, high-impact content that sets new standards across our digital platforms. You will redefine our social media presence with inventive strategies and dynamic storytelling, ensuring every interaction resonates. Partnering with internal teams and visionary agency collaborators, you'll transform ideas into immersive brand experiences both online and in our terminals pushing boundaries and inspiring engagement at every touchpoint.
You will also be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Lead and execute Perth Airport's content strategy across social media, website, and in-terminal digital displays.
- Manage the content calendar, ensuring alignment with wider marketing campaigns, seasonal moments, and corporate activity.
- Plan and deliver engaging, audience-specific content including short-form video (reels, stories), graphics, and written copy.
- Support with hands-on content capture and editing of short-form video when needed
- Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to ensure creative ideas are strategically aligned and executed on time.
- Monitor, analyse and report on performance metrics to refine strategies and boost engagement, reach and conversion.
- Manage, in collaboration with the Digital Producer, the content production workflows, digital content libraries, and ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay ahead of social media and content trends, algorithm changes and emerging digital opportunities.
- Support safety and risk management by ensuring content activities align with digital standards and workplace health and safety frameworks.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field, with 5+ years' proven experience in similar position.
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms and best practices, with hands-on experience capturing and creating content across multiple formats.
- Skilled in visual storytelling and copywriting, with a knack for writing sharp, engaging captions that resonate.
- Confident using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and content management systems (Sitecore experience highly regarded).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from data and shape content decisions accordingly.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment.
- A collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships and contributes to shared goals.
