Corporate Services – Traineeship

The City of Ballarat has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee in the Corporate Services Department working throughout many areas including Customer Experience, Records, Finance, etc.  Whilst you are completing a nationally recognised certificate, you will undertake on the job training and provide customer service and administration duties to support the Corporate Services Team.

You will have a professional attitude, good computer skills and a customer focus approach to your work.

The City of Ballarat in return will offer a supporting environment that fosters learning, enabling you to maximise this opportunity.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in the provision of customer service specifically incorporating organisational skills and ability to multi task.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills as well a knowledge of Microsoft based computer packages.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with a broad range of people and work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
