We have an incredible opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated individual to join our IT team based at our Linley Valley Pork site.

Key responsibilities

  • Delivering first and second-level IT assistance to employees through phone, ticketing systems, or face-to-face interactions.
  • Providing first-level support for business applications for carton labelling, inventory and cold-store management (Marel, Foodchain, Wedderburn etc)
  • Assisting in cloud-based telephony setup
  • Providing technical support for Operational Technology devices and IT infrastructure related to plant operations.
  • Executing the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of user hardware and accessories, including laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and printers.
  • Documenting technical procedures effectively
  • Performing additional tasks as required

About you

  • Understand network and communication protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and experience with remote desktop services.
  • Competency with Office 365 suite of applications and services.
  • Knowledge of Windows Desktop OS, versions 7, 10, and 11.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Windows Server OS,
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
