We are currently looking for a Full time Building Maintenance Estimator / Minor Works Estimator to handle sourcing trades, compiling quotes, organising materials, organising equipment, updating clients & assisting with general day to day tasks using simple job tracking software to join our team.

Qualifications/skills:

  • Previous trade experience or previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Must hold a current driver's licence and white card.
  • Must have their own reliable transport.
  • Be able to interpret and apply Australian Building Codes and Compliance Frameworks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for building, maintenance, and repair projects
  • Interpret scope documents, plans, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with tender submissions and client proposals
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing
  • Updating all jobs with clients daily.
  • Scheduling and organise jobs to in house & external trades using job tracking software.
  • Sourcing trades for the works required.
  • Organising materials and equipment for jobs.
  • Ability to problem solve and handle any customer issues that may arise with a solution-focused approach.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and trades.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to administration systems.
  • General day to day tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
