Finance Team
at our Corporate Office in Bunbury. This is a
Monday to Friday, full-time role
.

Belong at Home (CHC) is a highly respected not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services to aged people and their carers throughout the South West, with branches in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Collie, Donnybrook, and Bridgetown.

Role Description
As a Finance Officer, you will support the Finance Manager and team in delivering accurate and timely financial processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accounts payable day to day processing and end of month.
  • Assist in accounts payable Support at Home claiming evidence.
  • Maintaining supplier and external provider relationships.
  • Support of reconciliation and calculation of monthly transactions for Home Care Packages (HCP) and balances (transitioning to Support at Home)
  • Quarterly reporting on client budget utilisation.
  • Fortnightly extraction and processing of payroll data reviewing reports for changes across six sites. Salary sacrifice reports reconciled and submitted to provider as part of the payroll process.
  • Working with other departments to facilitate the timely and correct exiting of clients for invoicing.
  • Provide input in the development and enhancement of the external provider transactions, monitoring and reporting on income vs expenditure.
  • Support the finance team where required for additional tasks where needed.

Skills & Experience

  • You will have excellent communication skills, an empathetic attitude and an understanding of older people and be solution focused.
  • Qualification in finance, accounting or bookkeeping is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to follow and propose improvements to processes and procedures.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • Strong 'people' skills and dedicated team player.
  • Passionate about the community with a positive attitude.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • A police clearance certificate is essential with annual flu vaccination.
  • Prior Xero experience an advantage.
