We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker for a regular shift every Wednesday from 9:30am to 2:30pm in Busselton, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts as they become available.

In this role, you will support a client who enjoys shopping, going to the library, and volunteering at a local nursery. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, friendly, and passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives.

In addition to this shift, we are also offering a casual role based in Margaret River, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, providing support to various clients depending on availability and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in day-to-day living, encourage independence and accompany on activities and essential outings
  • Utilise positive behaviour strategies
  • Following person-centred plans
  • Documenting & progress note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting or engaging with people with disabilities
  • Positively engage, interact and work with people who have complex needs
  • Computer literacy and administration skills
  • Ability to maintain clients' privacy and confidentiality
  • Willing to travel to support clients
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Provide First Aid & CPR certificate (or willing to obtain prior to employment)

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening check.
